  • 600 g potatoes, peeled and coarsely grated
  • 0.5 piece onion, finely grated
  • 2 tbsp cornflour
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper

Steps

  1. Coarsely grate the peeled potatoes, soak them in cold water for 5 minutes, then squeeze them as dry as you can in a clean towel.
  2. Toss the potato in a bowl with the grated onion, cornflour, olive oil, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
  3. Press the mixture into 6 flat patties about 1 cm thick and arrange them in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  4. Cook at 190°C for 15–18 minutes, flipping halfway, until deep golden and crisp at the edges. Serve hot.
