Privacy policy

This policy covers both the Air Fryer Recipes website and the Air Fryer Recipes & Meal Plans Android app. We collect only what is needed to run the service:

• Account: If you sign up, we store your email and account data (e.g. profile, credits balance, meal plans, dietary preferences) in a secure database. We use it to provide login, profile, and AI-powered features.
• AI-Powered Features & Third-Party Data Sharing: Some features use Google Gemini, a third-party AI service provided by Google LLC. When you use AI-powered features (meal plan generation, fridge recipe suggestions, or recipe customization), the following data may be sent to Google:
  • Your dietary preferences (diet type, allergies, calorie goal)
  • Ingredient lists you enter
  • Photos of your fridge (if you use the photo feature)
  • Recipe details (name, ingredients, steps) when customizing a recipe
  This data is sent solely to generate personalized results and is not used for any other purpose. Your email, name, account ID, and other personal identifiers are never sent to Google. You will be asked to consent before any data is shared with Google's AI service.
• Advertising & device identifiers (Android app only): The free Android app shows ads supplied by Google AdMob. To serve, measure and cap the frequency of those ads, AdMob collects your device's advertising ID — a resettable identifier assigned by Android — and shares it with Google, together with related technical data such as device model, app version, approximate location derived from your IP address, and which ads were shown or tapped. Ads may be personalized on the basis of this data. Our website shows no ads and sets no advertising cookies.
  • You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or turn personalized ads off, at any time under Settings → Privacy → Ads on your Android device.
  • Google's use of this data is described in its partner policy.
• Usage & app integrity: The app uses Google Firebase Analytics to help us understand how it is used and to improve it. This records events such as which screens you open, along with an app instance ID — an identifier tied to your installation of the app rather than to you personally. We also use Firebase App Check with Google Play Integrity, which checks that requests come from a genuine, unmodified copy of the app.
• We do not sell your personal data. Beyond the advertising, analytics and AI processing described above, we share data only when required by law or to protect our rights.
